About Us

We are a small family run builder's merchant's that operates out of our depot on Brookfield industrial estate at Tansley. We was established in 1894 as a coal merchant’s in Burton on Trent and moved to Matlock sometime in the early 1900's from then on we have been supplying Matlock and the surrounding area’s with all their building material need’s.

Deliveries

We have a fleet of HGV crane offload vehicles plus a small pick up tipper for those difficult access areas. Also we are able to deliver direct loads:16/20tonne tippers, Artics, 3 to 6 cubic metre concrete deliveries. As well as our own on site ready mix plant able to mix concrete by the quarter meter for delivery or instant collection.
